Matt Hass is a London-based photographer who graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art
In Hass’ work you’ll find traces of the ethereal. He captures silent or otherwise overlooked moments, pictorial poems he pulls from the flux. What began as self-expression has now developed into a unique language. Hass collects and isolates seemingly rudimentary elements and gestures from his environment and extracts something delicate, vulnerable and human from them. What’s left are images of contemporary life that describe more than they can explain; evidence of nothing but everything, wherein anyone is someone and nowhere is everywhere.
